Organisational environment

Because it is where employees spend their time to ensure that the task is completed more efficiently, the organisational environment is important when conducting the task. While some workers follow the trend toward a more powerful workplace culture, others also take domestic culture into consideration. work-life harmony flexibility in scheduling, opportunities for part-time employment increasing productivity and money have a positive impact on infrastructure, society, and culture.(Mukaffi, Zaim, 2019)Family consent and knowledge have been shown as key predictors of job satisfaction in the literary.

Due to the current working climate, a variety of businesses and institutions are facing difficulties. The working environment is regarded as the most crucial factor for companies to take into account for increased job satisfaction. (Mukaffi, Zaim, 2019)The productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of the staff must be maintained in order to maintain the institutions' constant upward progress, and this can only be done by offering various facilities. The most important requirement of the workers is a comfortable working environment. Therefore, ensuring a better working environment is a top priority for organisations and institutions in order to keep a steady staff for the operation of their businesses.

The working environment can range from being perfectly comfortable to being extremely challenging and hazardous to the life and health of the person. External factors that can affect difficult working conditions include weather - meteorological conditions, temperature, humidity, drafts, lighting in the workplace, noise and interference, gases, radiation, dust, smoke, and other harmful factors; subjective factors that can affect difficult working conditions include worker age and gender, fatigue, monotony, unfavourable posture while working, etc.(Mukaffi, Zaim, 2019) the length of the work shift, the work schedule, the working hours, the tempo of the task, and excessive physical strain are all aspects that affect how production is organised. Only personnel who meet certain standards in terms of age, sex, qualifications, health, physical and mental condition, and psycho-physiological and psychological abilities are permitted to work in jobs with challenging working conditions.

  • Physical environment

This is the place where the job is being conducted and deals with the physical or tangibles. It consists of elements such as equipment, office design, temperature, ventilation, and lighting. Space and noise level are also included. It has been demonstrated that elements of the workplace, such as heat, noise, and lighting, have a direct and indirect impact on a number of psychological processes. For instance, noise may reduce one's ability to do specific types of cognitive work. The quantity and type of social interaction between coworkers can be affected by the physical environment of the workplace. For instance, the layout of open-plan offices and other the kind of interactions that can occur may depend on characteristics of the physical layout. Physical safety may vary depending on the environment.(Namex International Journal of Management Research,July-Dec 2012)

  • Psychological environment

The aspects of the workplace that are relevant to employee behaviour might be thought of as the psychological work environment. The three were connected by behaviour considered are three distinct categories of psychological phenomena: affect (such as feelings, moods, psychological symptoms, and effective disorders); cognition (such as attitudes, perceptions, and decision-making); and behaviours (such as efficiency, absence, and motivation). The features of the workplace that have an impact on a worker's feelings make up the psychological work environment.

The mental activities a worker engages in while on the job or at their position are well described by the psychological work environment. Good descriptions and referrals to other sources of information on stress, bullying, work needs, cooperation, and conflict, etc. are included in psychological work environments. In the psychological workplace, concerns like stress and well being are prevalent.(Namex International Journal of Management Research,July-Dec 2012)

  • Social work environment

The social work environment addresses interpersonal interactions in workplace environments. It covers interpersonal relationships and communication techniques. Coworker relationships, willingness to provide a hand, and teamwork are also included. Respect for employees at all levels of an establishment is essential for achieving a progressive work environment.(Namex International Journal of Management Research, July-Dec 2012)

Company practices

In this company case the physical environment is not risky environment. but the design and physical atmosphere is more attractive and peace place to work. the psychological environment is in a proficient level. bullying, conflicts are rare. but target pressure information stress is still there. social working environment is relationship with peers and supervisor. this blog will discuss in following discussions. the refreshment activities on the working days can be implemented. in Sri Lanka NTB practices the entertaining activities before starting their daily works. it will make a positive environment before starting the work.so this company need to consider about refreshment activities as well as make sure the environment is hygiene and safe.

  2. This article has been described three types of working condition in organization and Author indicated the Sri Lanka' practices however even more examples will be provided it would be strengthen for this article.

A comfortable and safe physical environment, a positive psychological environment, and good interpersonal relationships among colleagues all contribute to a better work environment. Factors such as flexible work schedules, work-life balance, and opportunities for part-time employment can also have a positive impact on employee productivity and satisfaction. Therefore, it is important for companies to prioritize creating a better working environment to keep their employees happy and maintain a steady workforce. In addition, refreshment activities and entertainment options can be implemented to create a more positive work environment.
